"The Strides were in touch with us prior to our wedding to go over our music selection. Our first dance was a song they didn't play but they made the arrangements to have the song play on their iPod. All the band members were very professional and performed to our expectations. They really had everyone on their feet dancing all night and during their breaks they played songs on their iPod which everyone enjoyed. They were friendly with all of our guests and even played an encore for us. All of our guests, young and old, commented on how much they enjoyed the band. "The Strides played at our wedding on the 17th of October 2010 in Aberdeen and they were unbelievable! The crowd went wild for them!They played a variety of music including a Ceilidh section at the start and towards the end there was a bit of audience participation which was hilarious. They took requests and provided music on i pod whilst they were on their breaks. Most of the guests at the wedding were late 20s so it was essential that we had a modern band that played up to date music. The band had a laugh with the guests while remaining professional. They were friendly, easy to talk to and they even enjoyed a drink in the bar with us after the night was over. We couldn't have asked for any more and would love to see them again sometime. We have had friends say that they will want them for their weddings in the future! Thanks a lot guys...it wouldn't have been the same without you."
